KIP 238 Washi-Tec Washi Masking Tape 48mm x 50m
KIP 238 WASHI-TEC® Premium Masking Tape is a premium professional painters tape designed to deliver razor-sharp paint lines, reliable adhesion and clean removal across a wide range of decorating and masking applications.
Manufactured using advanced WASHI-TEC® paper with a high-quality acrylic adhesive, KIP 238 is exceptionally thin, flexible and tear-resistant. This allows the tape to sit closely against smooth and slightly textured surfaces, helping to prevent paint bleed and produce crisp, professional-looking edges.
The balanced adhesive strength provides secure adhesion while allowing the tape to be removed cleanly without leaving unwanted adhesive residue. Its excellent UV resistance also makes KIP 238 suitable for both indoor and outdoor masking applications, making it a highly versatile choice for professional painters, decorators and contractors.

Professional Masking for Sharp Paint Edges
KIP 238 Gold masking tape has been specifically developed for demanding painting and decorating work where precision matters. The extremely thin WASHI-TEC® backing helps the tape sit flat against the surface, reducing the opportunity for paint to creep beneath the edge.
It is particularly suitable for painting walls, woodwork, skirting boards, door frames, window frames and other interior or exterior surfaces where a clean decorative finish is required.
Long-Term & Outdoor Masking
Unlike many standard masking tapes, KIP 238 offers excellent resistance to both UV exposure and higher temperatures. KIP specifies a maximum temperature resistance of 100°C, with recommended application periods of up to 6 months indoors and 2 months outdoors.
This makes it an excellent choice for longer decorating projects, renovation work and professional trade applications.
